Russell Seneviratne, 37 years and born in England.
In 2000 he started in the hairdressing industry and after achieving his Barber certificate, he started the Toni & Guy training.
In 2001 he started as a hairdresser with Toni & Guy, where he worked for 17 years as a fulltime Educator in London and backstage during London Fashion Week. In 2010 he moved to the Netherlands, now working for Toni & Guy as Director Education. Besides this he gave over more than 200 shows and trainings (also for L’Oréal), was Chef de Cabine during Amsterdam Fashion Week and was nominated for Coiffure Award.
Russell gets his inspiration out of Social Media, Instagram and television programs. What he likes most about being a hairdresser is that he can put all his creativity in it, but also solving problems in an unconventional way.
Reason why Russell has become a trainer/platform artist is that he wants to help other hairdressers with their carreer and be an inspirator for them. But above all: that they become better than himself.
